Advanced lyrical Teacher
I am thrilled to be teaching the advanced lyrical class for the upcoming 2019/2020 season. Lyrical is a combination of ballet and contemporary, blending both technique and intricate movement in combinations in the centre and across the floor. My class will be an open space where dancers will be encouraged to take risks and explore quality of movement in hopes of pushing yourself to the next level. It is recommended that dancers have 8+ years of experience to benefit and get the most out of each class. I hope to see you in September and can’t wait to dance with you!

I began dancing at the age of 11, training in a variety of styles including jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, acro and hip-hop. In Calgary, I volunteered as a student teacher at Springbank Dancers, as well as engaged as a full-time teacher with the responsibility of coaching a variety of Ballet, Jazz, Acro, and Fusion classes. Currently, I am affiliated with the studio as a guest choreographer and brought on to choreograph competition numbers. Additionally, I have danced competitively for 6 years and have had many performance opportunities including the Disney Land parade and a flash mob in times square in New York. I have also been fortunate enough to have taken class at many notable studios including Habour Dance Centre and Broadway Dance Centre.
