Most memorable dance experience? Most memorable dance experience was when I came top 10 at the Dance Awards in New York City in the junior division. I had worked so hard that past year and it was so rewarding and reassured my work ethic and passion.
Picture this: you fall on stage and the photographer managed to get a shot of you mid fall. What would you caption the picture? When you just finished learning a dance and the choreographer says full out from the top and you trip over your own feet cause you don’t know what you’re doing.
I began dancing at the age of 3 at Joanne chapman school of dance. I’ve trained in various styles such as jazz, acro, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and I continue to train in ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. I have competed at both regional and national dance competitions and have been with Joanne Chapman school of dance when they have won both 2011 and 2015 Studio of the Year at The Dance Awards. My extensive training has given me the opportunities to work with Emmy award winners Travis Wall and Mandy Moore as well as broadway choreographer Al Blackstone.
I am a graduate from Mayfield Secondary schools regional arts dance program and a certified member of the British associations teachers of dance after completing my dance teaching exam in the year 2015.
