Guest Workshop Series #1

Queen's Dance Club is excited to annouce our very first Guest Workshop of the year! On September 30th from 12:30-2pm we are welcoming dancer, teacher, and choreographer, David Norsworthy to teach a Contemporary Workshop in Studio 1 in the Arc! This Guest Workshop is FREE so be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure your spot. 

David Norsworthy is a Toronto-born, internationally acclaimed choreographer, performer and teacher. He has worked with companies, festivals and educational institutions in Canada, the USA, Sweden, Tanzania and Australia. David was the recipient of The Living Arts Centre's inaugural Ron Lenyk Arts Award. He is the Founder / Artistic Director of Fresh Dance Intensive, a workshop series that has inspired over 5100 young people in 6 Canadian provinces since 2007 and Co-Founder / Co-Artistic Director of TOES FOR DANCE, an outreach and exchange initiative that has received critical praise from The Globe and Mail and The Dance Current. In 2016 David was named one of the 25 Most Influential Young Choreographers by Narcity Toronto. He is the grateful recipient of funding from the Toronto Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts. David graduated from New York City's The Juilliard School in May 2013, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Dance Division.
